Pürblack Patents and Innovation

Since founder Nodari Rizun filed the first application in 2012, Pürblack's shilajit processing and formulation technology has been protected by seven granted United States patents, issued between 2018 and 2026. Each is public record, independently searchable by number at the USPTO or on Google Patents. Patent grant requires a USPTO examiner to confirm the invention is novel, non-obvious, and fully disclosed — a higher bar than most claims made in the supplement industry, where "patented" is often used loosely.

Manufacturing Process — US10,130,656 B2

This patent covers Pürblack's core manufacturing method: field identification and testing of raw shilajit (mumie) from multiple verified sources rather than a single deposit, sub-48°C clean-room processing, multi-stage filtration down to 0.03 microns, and low-temperature dehydration into resin. Combining shilajit from more than one source, based on the observation that authentic shilajit varies in composition but shares core markers, is the basis for what Pürblack calls Fourth Generation shilajit.

Dispensing Devices — US9,903,747 B2 and US10,184,818 B2

These two patents cover the measuring and dispensing tool sold with Pürblack resin: a stainless-steel device with a hooked end for suspending over the rim of a glass and a scale-marked scoop for measuring resin by weight rather than volume — something a standard spoon or dropper cannot do accurately with a substance this dense.

Precious-Metal Enrichment — US10,967,004 B2

This patent covers shilajit resin formulated with verified concentrations of gold, platinum, or silver, generally between 1 and 100 ppm, alongside defined ceiling limits on mercury (≤1 mg/kg) and arsenic (≤6 mg/kg) and a glycine floor of 1%. Most "gold shilajit" sold elsewhere in the market has never been tested for actual precious-metal content; this patent's claims are built around verified, quantified levels.

Sensory Optimization — US11,883,454 B2

Genuine shilajit has a strong, often off-putting taste and smell, which has historically limited its use. This patent covers formulation methods that improve palatability without processing out the resin's core properties, and describes an effect on brain wave activity in the 0.5–35 Hz range tied to specific formulations — the technical basis for Pürblack's mood- and use-case-specific product lines.

Amino Acid and Peptide Compositions — US12,186,291 B2

This patent extends Pürblack's IP beyond shilajit resin into its oral peptide line. It covers nootropic compositions combining free amino acids and peptides with ingredients such as a B vitamin, shilajit, ashwagandha, ginseng, or rhodiola — the technical foundation for Pürblack's peptide-based products.

Enriched Formulations — US12,721,876 B2

Pürblack's newest patent, granted September 2026, extends the enrichment approach established in US11,883,454 B2 to a broader range of active compounds: cannabinoids, terpenes, terpenoids, essential oils, and fatty acids added to the base resin.

Verifying Every Jar

Every jar of Pürblack carries a serial, batch, and lot number that can be registered online to confirm authenticity — a level of traceability the patents above make possible but do not by themselves guarantee. Combined with third-party Certificates of Analysis issued per batch, the patent record and the verification system are meant to work together: one covers how the product is made, the other confirms that any individual jar was actually made that way.

The health associations described above reflect claim language in the patents themselves and are not independent or FDA-evaluated conclusions about Pürblack's finished retail products.
