The short answer
Only 7 of the 53 shilajit gummies listed in ShilajitDB publish a usable third-party lab report. Another 5 publish a report with gaps, and 41 publish none, including 5 that share one only on request.
None of the 53 grades above C. The data is from ShilajitDB's gummy listings as of Oct 15, 2026, and every report we link to is a document published by the brand or its lab.
What we checked
A gummy report counts as usable only if it passes four tests. We applied the same four to every product.
- The report names the testing lab.
- It covers the finished gummy, not only the raw shilajit that went into it.
- It carries a test date.
- It shows a result for lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury, either a number or a stated non-detect, not just "pass."
The finished-gummy test matters because a gummy contains other ingredients. A clean result on raw shilajit says little about the gummy a customer swallows.
The seven gummies with a usable report
These seven pass all four tests, sorted by ShilajitDB grade and then by newest test date.
| Product | Lab | Test date | Lead / arsenic / cadmium / mercury | ShilajitDB grade |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Novomins Shilajit 2000mg Strawberry Flavoured, 60 Gummies | Eurofins Food Testing UK | Aug 24, 2026 | below 0.005 / 0.005 / 0.001 / below 0.005 mg/kg | C |
| Xara Shilajita Pure Shilajit Gummies | Twin Arbor Analytical | Jan 23, 2026 | 0.01118 / 0.02119 / not detected / not detected ppm | C |
| Key Elements Organic Shilajit Gummies with Sea Moss | Summit Nutritional Laboratories | Oct 6 to 13, 2025 | below 0.001 / 0.004 / below 0.001 / below 0.001 ppm | C |
| Life Cykel Shilajit Gummies | Matrix Sciences International | Sep 15, 2025 | 0.01 / below 0.01 / 0.01 / 0.01 ppm | C |
| Sunmed Shilajit Gummies | ACT Laboratories (FL) | Sep 10, 2024 | Not detected for all four | C |
| PakShilajit Sundried Himalayan Shilajit Gummies | Qarshi Research International | Feb 25, 2026 | Not detected for all four | D |
| Nurojit 11-in-1 Alpha Gummies | Envirolab Services | Nov 27, 2025 | below 1 / below 4 / below 0.4 / below 0.1 mg/kg | D |
Results are printed as each lab reported them, and ppm equals mg/kg. Reporting limits range from 0.001 to 4 mg/kg across these seven, so a non-detect is only as tight as the limit behind it.
What is in each serving
The headline milligrams on a gummy label are often not what is in the serving. Novomins is named for 2000 mg, but its label lists 100 mg of 20:1 extract per serving, and the 2000 mg is the raw shilajit before extraction. Sunmed's 1,000 mg works the same way and comes from 50 mg of 20:1 extract.
| Product | Serving | Shilajit per serving, as labelled | Pack and price | Price per serving |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Novomins | 2 gummies | 100 mg extract (20:1); the label's 2000 mg is the amount before extraction | 60 gummies, 19.99 GBP | 0.67 GBP |
| Xara Shilajita | 1 gummy | 300 mg pure shilajit | 30 gummies, 39.99 USD | 1.33 USD |
| Key Elements | 2 gummies | 150 mg extract (10:1); the label says equivalent to 1,500 mg | 60 gummies, 24.99 USD | 0.83 USD |
| Life Cykel | 2 gummies | 250 mg powder extract (ratio not stated) | 30 gummies, 23.07 USD | 1.54 USD |
| Sunmed | 2 gummies | 50 mg of 20:1 extract; the label says 1,000 mg | 60 gummies, 40.00 USD | 1.33 USD |
| PakShilajit | 1 gummy | 200 mg sun-dried resin; the same page also says 300 mg | 30 gummies, 44.99 USD | 1.50 USD |
| Nurojit | 2 gummies | 500 mg extract (10:1); the page says 5,000 mg raw equivalent | 60 gummies, 49.99 USD | 1.67 USD |
Serving sizes differ, so compare price per serving, not price per jar. Key Elements and Nurojit are multi-ingredient formulas, and Nurojit lists 11 ingredients in one serving. Prices were read on Oct 15, 2026. Novomins is priced in pounds and the rest in dollars.
Where to start
No gummy here is a clear best, since the highest ShilajitDB grade among them is C. Three questions narrow the list.
- Tightest reporting limits: Key Elements (0.001 mg/kg), Novomins (0.005) and Xara (about 0.009), so their non-detects carry the most weight.
- Newest test: Novomins (Aug 2026), PakShilajit (Feb 2026) and Xara (Jan 2026).
- Lowest price per serving: Novomins (0.67 GBP) and Key Elements (0.83 USD).
Two cautions apply. PakShilajit's report prints no reporting limit, and Nurojit's limits are too high to show low-level contamination.
What the other reports are missing
Five more gummies publish a report that fails at least one of the four tests.
- One tested only the raw shilajit for heavy metals. The finished gummies were tested for aflatoxins alone.
- Two show only "pass" for each metal, with no values. One is a certificate headed with the brand's name and a lab logo, and the other is a summary graphic made by the brand.
- One is a manufacturer certificate that names no lab.
- One prints 0% in rows labelled ppm, which is not a measurement.
The remaining 41 publish no report. Five of them say one is available on request.
Of the 53 gummies, 37 have a ShilajitDB grade: 9 are C, 8 are D, 12 are E and 8 are F. The other 16 have no grade.
How to check a gummy before you buy
Four checks take a few minutes and separate a real report from a label claim.
- Ask for the certificate of analysis for your lot, even if the brand says it is available only on request.
- Confirm the sample is the finished gummy, not raw shilajit.
- Confirm the lab is named, the report is dated and the lot number matches your jar. The oldest report in the table above is from September 2024.
- Look for numbers with units and a reporting limit. Treat "pass," "0%" or a summary the brand made itself as unverified.
Gummies vs. resin
Resin is a single ingredient, so one lab report covers the whole product. A gummy adds other ingredients, so the report has to cover the finished gummy to say anything about what you eat.
The question to ask changes with the format. For a gummy, ask how much shilajit each serving contains as well as what the lab found. For resin, ask for the report for your batch. Our resin lab reports are on our certificate of analysis page.
FAQ
What are the best shilajit gummies?
Seven of the 53 gummies listed in ShilajitDB publish a usable third-party lab report. The table above shows each one's lab, test date and results, and none grades above C.
Do shilajit gummies contain heavy metals?
In the seven usable reports, the highest measured value is 0.021 ppm (arsenic), and the rest are non-detects or below the lab's reporting limit. Each result applies only to the lot that was tested.
How do I know if a shilajit gummy is third-party tested?
Ask for the certificate of analysis for your lot. It should name the lab, carry a date, cover the finished gummy and show a result for lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury.
Is testing different for gummies and resin?
The tests are the same, but a gummy report has to cover the finished gummy, because the gummy contains ingredients besides shilajit.
How much shilajit is in a gummy?
Across the seven gummies with usable reports, labelled amounts range from 50 mg of 20:1 extract to 500 mg of 10:1 extract per serving. Headline figures such as 2000 mg often refer to the raw shilajit before extraction, so compare the extract amount and its ratio.
